In the Image and Likeness: Right Relationships through a Catholic lens
In a time when young people are navigating complex questions of identity, belonging, relationships, safety and digital culture, Catholic schools are called to respond with both courage and compassion. The 2026 ASREAP Conference provides an opportunity for Religious Education and Mission leaders to reflect deeply on what it means to form young people for right relationships through a Catholic lens.
Drawing together theology, pastoral care, curriculum, safeguarding, respectful relationships education and practical school-based programs, the conference will support participants to engage with contemporary challenges while remaining grounded in the Catholic vision of the human person. Workshop sessions will explore Consent and Respectful Relationships Education, domestic and family violence awareness, student-led retreat experiences, online culture, The Rite Journey, synodality and the relationship between schools, services and clergy.
