Below you will find an overview of the program to download.

In collaboration with the Cairns Catholic Education community, you are invited to explore First Nations ways of Knowing, Being, Doing and Valuing, and consider how these can assist you in forming and informing your leadership, relationships, how you teach and how you pray.

Using the principles of an On Country Experience, you will be invited to listen deeply and learn from First Nations Elders as they share their experiences, and at the same time reflect on how an encounter with an ancient wisdom provides an opportunity to dialogue in a contemporary context.

The ASREAP Conference offers a wonderful learning experience for all those who dream of a future founded on truth-telling, healing and reconciliation in our nation.

The ASREAP Committee are continuing to developed the program, but it is already shaping up to be a truly remarkable Conference experience.

Pope Francis #198 Fratelli Tutti 2020

“Approaching, speaking, listening, looking at, coming to know and
understand one another, and to find common ground...
All these things are summed up in the one word “dialogue”.
If we want to encounter and help one another, we have to dialogue.
Unlike disagreement and conflict, persistent and courageous dialogue does not make headlines,
but quietly helps the world to live much better than we imagine.”
